Anti-Gun Senator Jamilah Nasheed Arrested In Ferguson Carrying A 9mm
FERGUSON, Mo. – Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed had a gun in her possession at the time she was arrested late on Monday outside the Ferguson Police Department, according to Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson. Nasheed refused to comment about having the weapon ( a gun ), but did tell News 4 she has a concealed carry permit. A Ferguson police officer told us than in fact Nasheed was carrying a fully-loaded 9 mm handgun and additional rounds.
Sources also told News 4 Ferguson police requested St. Ann to issue a breathalyzer test at the time of her arrest because she “smelled strongly of intoxicants,” but Nasheed refused to do so. Nasheed said Tuesday she was not intoxicated at the time.
Nasheed was properly charged with Failure to Obey Lawful Order of Police and Manner of Walking in the Roadway. She was released from St. Ann jail before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
- Now let’s put in perspective what happened here:-She was carrying a LOADED 9mm handgun.
-She refused breathalyzer after they suspected her of intoxication saying there was a strong odor of “intoxicants.”
-The NRA-ILA in fact labeled her as “anti-gun” due to her sponsorship of several Missouri Bills including a GunOwner Registry and other non successful attempts at attacking our 2nd Amendment rights.
